The Brook Run Neighborhood Association (BRNA) was founded in 2008 by a group of residents who wished to join forces with neighbors to improve the overall quality of life at Brook Run. In February 2009, the association was formally recognized by the City of Des Moines as the 53rd neighborhood association within the city. The BRNA serves the Brook Run Village neighborhood, defined as the community existing between NE 38th Avenue and Stream Side Circle from the north and south, and between East 53rd Court and East 49th Street on the east and west.
